Here is how you can start building an exciting web page!
*You must be on campus or connected via the VPN to edit pages. Please contact TAC for assisting setting up VPN access.

Once logged in, you should see a screen confirming your xnumber and title (some additional tools/options may also appear):
Navigate to your personal web page on the editing site. Profile URLs use the following format:
waubonsee.edu/<lastname>-<firstname>
As an example, if your last name is Smith and your first name is Jane, your editing URL would be:
waubonsee.edu/smith-jane or waubonsee.edu/smith-dr-jane
You can also search for your profile in the directory by clicking on the 'Content' menu item:
And then searching for your name. It may also help to filter by 'staff' to narrow down the search results:
On your web page, you should see an option that says either 'Edit' or 'New Draft':
Locate the Content section near the bottom of the editing page and add either an Accordion or a WYSIWYG (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get). The Accordion block expands when clicked on and is great for collapsing long blocks of content. The WYSIWYG outputs its content directly on the profile page:
When you are finished editing content for the first time, change the to 'Show Detail Page' option to 'YES':
This will activate and add your web page to the directory. Press the blue 'Save' button at the bottom of the page to save your changes:
Important notes:
Many profile details are automatically populated directly from Banner. If you need to update your title, office location, phone, etc., please contact HR.
Most changes are immediately reflected on the .edu website
If your page is not showing up in the directory, ensure the 'Show Detail Page' option is set to 'Yes' (step 6).
