Sync Online courses are a combination of course instruction and student participation occurring synchronously online through Zoom on the scheduled days and times for the course. This allows students to engage with faculty and peers in real-time. Instruction can also occur asynchronously online through Canvas.
Examples of Sync Online include:
All Sync
- Lecture/Lab meetings are 100% synchronous online via Zoom during scheduled days and times.
Even Split
- Lecture/Lab meetings are 50% synchronous and 50% asynchronous online.
Sync Focus
- Lecture/Lab meetings are 2/3 synchronous and 1/3 asynchronous online.
Partial Sync
- Lecture/Lab meetings are 1/3 synchronous and 2/3 asynchronous online.
