Goals and Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the New Faculty Learning Academy programming, the faculty member, in support of holistic student success will be able to:

  • apply teaching and learning strategies that foster confidence and competency in the classroom;
  • access Waubonsee resources;
  • develop a strategy to maintain a good work-life balance;
  • identify and plan for professional development opportunities in both pedagogy and content/field;
  • become familiar with many people and their role(s) in the organizational structure of Waubonsee.
